Cigna Sağlık Hayat ve Emeklilik
We redesigned the corporate website of Cigna Finans Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş., a retirement and life insurance company operating through a partnership between one of Turkey’s largest banks, QNB Finansbank, and one of the world’s largest insurance companies, Cigna.
Developed with a modern, responsive approach, the new website is now more user-friendly and innovative. By leveraging current techniques and new technologies, we created a website that offers an enhanced user experience. Our collaboration with Cigna Finans, which began in 2014 through a Drupal training, continues today, supporting numerous successful projects and websites through maintenance and ongoing support.
A Better Mobile Experience
For Cigna Finans, we set out with the goal of creating a website that better represents the company and provides an improved user experience. The majority of website visits now come from mobile devices, highlighting that mobile should be the primary focus. User experience on mobile devices has therefore become critically important. With this goal in mind, we carried out our development according to the prepared designs, prioritizing the mobile version.
For insurance companies, collecting customer information and increasing lead generation are among the most important goals. To achieve this, we placed an application form on the slider at the homepage of the Cigna Finans corporate website. Additionally, we created a structure on the product pages that allows users to easily submit applications.
The overall goal of the project was not only to redesign a website that provides information to users and collects their contact details, but also to create a digital experience that enables Cigna Finans to deliver better service to its customers at every touchpoint.
Drupal is an open-source content management platform that has been increasingly preferred by many national and international companies in recent years. Thanks to its modular structure, Drupal can be customized to meet the specific needs of institutions, offering optimal solutions for a wide range of requirements. Recommended by Cigna Global, Drupal is actively used by many Cigna companies worldwide.
To provide a better content management experience, we created custom content types. For example, on the Cigna Finans corporate website, products, news, FAQs, and other content are managed through dedicated content types, with specific fields available for each type on the editing screen.
One of the strengths of Drupal is its content approval workflow. Content edited by users with specific roles (content managers) is published only after approval by another content manager. We implemented an effective content approval mechanism for Cigna Finans as well, ensuring smooth and controlled content publication.
Calculation Tools
With the calculation tools, you can easily estimate your potential retirement returns. On the Cigna Finans corporate website, the Individual Retirement Calculator module we developed allows you to quickly calculate the potential returns of your chosen product based on your age and gender. As with other sections of the site, we also ensure an excellent mobile experience for the calculation tools on the Cigna Finans website.
Integration with Different Systems
On the Cigna Finans corporate website, we developed software to enable integration with the company’s various systems. For example, as part of the 24/7 Healthy Life Insurance online health package, we integrated with a separate system to provide the "Online Doctor and Psychologist Consultation Service." Cigna Finans customers can access this online doctor service directly through the Cigna Finans website.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
It encompasses many elements, from meta tags to site themes, that affect your search engine ranking. However, one of the first steps you should take when building your site with Drupal is to implement a collection of SEO modules to achieve a higher ranking.
Progressive Web App (PWA)
PWA, özel bir kodlama tekniğiyle yazılmış Web sitelerinin bir mobil uygulama gibi kullanılabilmesini ve çevrim dışıyken dahi erişimi mümkün kılan yeni bir teknolojidir. Ziraat Katılım Kurumsal web sitesinde PWA teknolojisini aktif olarak kullandık.
